A free nonprofit program where high school golfers teach the next generation the fundamentals, rules, and love of the game.
Kids meet Monday through Friday for a 1–2 hour session. Each day has a focus — from the fundamentals all the way to playing a real round on the course.
High school golfers lead every session — real peer mentorship in action.
Experienced coaches join throughout the season to elevate the learning.
No cost, ever. This program exists to make golf accessible to every kid.
Sessions held at Grayson Woods Golf in Pleasant Hill — a real course, real experience.
My name is Ethan Go, and I am a 15-year-old golfer who competes for the De La Salle High School golf team. Golf has been more than just a sport to me — it has shaped the way I think, compete, and push myself every day.
The discipline, focus, and love of the game that golf has given me is something I want every kid to have a chance to experience. I founded Junior Golf Academy because I believe no child should be kept off the course simply because of cost.
My goal is simple: share the game I love and inspire the next generation of golfers, one lesson at a time.
Monday–Friday · 1–2 hours per session
5-day rotating cycle (Basics → Practice → Short Game → Games → On the Course)
Hosted by high school golfers with guest coaches throughout the season.
Any kid who wants to learn golf but can't afford traditional lessons. No prior experience needed — beginners are welcome and encouraged!
Sessions are led by local high school golfers passionate about the sport and giving back to their community. Guest coaches with professional backgrounds join throughout the program to add depth and expertise.
